Synopsis: 
Personal opinion: Conrad does a splendid job in the operetta “Der schwarze Husar”, and he is always impressive as an officer. His costumes are elegant, including the military uniforms, that fit him very well. Mady Christians is very good, too, as his co-star, and there are some nice musical moments that make us want to escape to a world of dreams. Even if Connie is not best known for this type of film, “Der schwarze Husar” is worth watching, and for one hour and a half you have the chance to entertain yourselves with a good and decent piece of cinema, like it used to be in those glorious times of the seventh art.
