A fantastic, authentic signed photograph of Conrad Veidt, the famous Hollywood actor who appeared in “The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari”, “The Thief of Baghdad” and “The Man Who Laughs”.
The photo is in very good condition with no creases or rips and it measures 18cm by 13cm. It is signed in blue fountain pen ink and it is clear that this is a genuine signature due to variations in the ink intensity and pressure. He has also written the date “1936″ below his signature.
I’m not sure how this came into my family but my aunts were close to British film and theatre actor Robert Fleming and I suspect that he probably worked with Conrad Veidt at some time.
As a bonus for whoever wins this item, I will include a standard postcard shot of Conrad Veidt, wearing a white bow tie, also in very good condition.
